Art Classes
For all levels - Every Friday in July &August
Joyce Sumara, artist and Kennisis Lake cottager (sumaragallery.com), along with Harvey Walker (harveywalkerart.ca) are hosting a variety of programs for all levels.
They are hosting morning and afternoon sessions every Friday throughout July and August.Topics include Paint Along (PAL) Studio, fine art, oil & acrylic for beginners, plein air painting techniques, portrait
painting and more!!
Camp Kennisis
For kids ages 5-11
New this year!! Camp for kids ages 5-11 located at the Event Tent beside Kennisis Lake Marina! Camp runs each week starting July 11 through August 18 on TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS & THURSDAYS from 11am to 2pm. Activities include games, crafts, sports, pickleball and more! Campers will also receive a camp t-shirt, pickleball instruction & Kawartha Dairy ice-cream!
SPACE IS LIMITED AND FILLING UP FAST! REGISTER TODAY!
Fees: $120 for a camper’s first week and $110 for subsequent weeks

Yoga Classes
Sundays to Thursdays, July 2 – August 31
Yoga instructor, Lorrie McCauley welcomes all levels to participate in adult yoga classes held on Thursdays to Sundays throughout July & August in the new Event Tent at Kennisis Lake Marina.
Pricing:
- Classes are offered in packages of any 10 for $150
- Or a single class for $20
- Drop-ins welcome

Yoga, Karate & Self-Defense Classes
Every Monday from July 3 to August 28
Lorrie McCauley is an accomplished instructor, who has a second-degree black belt in karate and years of experience teaching yoga, karate, and self defense. Lorrie is hosting classes for youth ages 8-12 yrs every Monday from July 3 to August 28. All classes will be held in the new Event Tent located at Kennisis Lake Marina.
Class Schedule:
- Yoga: Mondays 10:15am – 11:00am
- Karate & Self Defense:
Mondays 11:15am to 12:00pm

Pickleball Round Robin Ages 18-30
Saturday July 8th, 1pm – 3pm
First ever Pickleball Round Robin Event for ages 18-30! You'll have a blast at this fun, social event where you play with different partners and against different opponents. All skill levels welcome!
Come out and meet new friends on the lake! Tell you friends to sign up! It’s FREE and you don’t need to be a member! But registration is required to play. LET’S GO!!!!!!!!!!

Kennisis Courts Annual Pickleball Event
Saturday August 19 (rain date Sunday August 20)
Get ready to ROCK’N ROLL at Kennisis Courts’ 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament! This exciting event is open to all members. Compete in either the Mixed Doubles Under 3.0 or Mixed Doubles 3.0+ skill level categories. This year’s theme is ROCK’N ROLL, so put on your best team attire for a chance to win prizes! Spectators are welcome to come out, watch some epic competition, cheer on the teams and
check out their wacky attire! Pick your partner and when registration opens sign up your team! Space is limited.

Battle of The Courts: Kennisis vs Stanhope
Wednesday August 23 (rain date Thursday August 24)
Who has the best pickleball players, Kennisis or Stanhope? You’re invited to come out and watch members of Kennisis Courts go head-to-head with Stanhope in the 1st ever Battle of the Courts Pickleball Tournament! 6 teams per club will compete in each category: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Double and Mixed Doubles. Participants may play in only one event. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come out and cheer on Team Kennisis!!
